Mech Gala is the social event of the year, and for 2026 CSME is hosting a throwback! 🎉 We’re planning to Mech it 2016 again, with fun minigames running all night to keep the energy high and the nostalgia flowing.🔥 The first 40 tickets sold will come with a free drink voucher, so get in quick! Come join us for our Lunch & Learn on April 1st at the Hatch offices! 🎉 We’ll be meeting in front of the Engineering Pavilion at 11:15 AM and heading over together via public transport, so don’t forget your SmartRider. The session will include: A 30-minute presentation by a Digital Media Consultant from Hatch A 30-minute Q&A covering graduate pathways for 2027 graduates and internship opportunities Hatch has worked on major projects including the Fremantle Container Terminal, Gorgon Project, and operations across smelters, coal-fired power stations, and open-cut mining so it’s a great chance to learn more about real industry work. Step into the arena, battle it out against other players, and see if you have what it takes to be the last one standing! 🔑 Requirements: A personal Minecraft Java Edition account is required to participate. 🏆 Prizes: Winners will take home prizes for their triumphs - so bring your best strategy and skills!
