Mech Gala is the social event of the year, and for 2026 CSME is hosting a throwback! 🎉 We’re planning to Mech it 2016 again, with fun minigames running all night to keep the energy high and the nostalgia flowing.🔥 The first 40 tickets sold will come with a free drink voucher, so get in quick! Food will also be provided. 😊 There’ll be drinks available too, so please note this event is strictly 18+ only. Get ready for a night of throwbacks, good times, and immaculate vibes! ✨

Come join us for our Lunch & Learn on April 1st at the Hatch offices! 🎉 We’ll be meeting in front of the Engineering Pavilion at 11:15 AM and heading over together via public transport, so don’t forget your SmartRider. Feel free to meet us there! The session will include: A 30-minute presentation by a Digital Media Consultant from Hatch A 30-minute Q&A covering graduate pathways for 2027 graduates and internship opportunities Hatch has worked on major projects including the Fremantle Container Terminal, Gorgon Project, and operations across smelters, coal-fired power stations, and open-cut mining so it’s a great chance to learn more about real industry work. CSME Presents: Mechatronics Mixer 2025 - Sponsored by Engineers Australia Join us on Tuesday, August 5th, from 6:00 PM - 9:00 PM at the Curtin Tav for the Mechatronics Mixer, proudly sponsored by Engineers Australia. This is your chance to connect with engineers from leading companies including but not limited to Worley, Nexxis, Hatch, Barminco, Pivotal Engineering and Engineers Australia. Each company will host a stall with engineers attending - giving you a great opportunity to network, ask questions, and explore career paths in a casual and welcoming environment. We’ll be putting on free pizza and chips, plus one free drink voucher per ticket to use at the Tav bar.
